Bike Co-op


The Bike Co-op is focused on providing accessible transportation and fostering community health for West Bloomington residents. The Co-op is also a welcoming space where members can learn about building and maintaining safe bicycles. When you visit the Co-op, you will find:

  • Bike tools
  • Bike stands
  • Parts for service
  • Racks to lock up
  • Air pumps
  • And more!

Location and Hours

Stop by the Bike Co-op on 724 W. Washington Street during the following times:

  • Monday:  5-7PM
  • Saturday:  9AM-12PM

Membership Options

Adult Annual Membership

(19 years and older)

$50 or 6 volunteer work hours at the Co-op

Youth Annual Membership

(18 years and younger)

Free, with proof of age. School or Valid ID required.)

One Day, Drop in Membership

$6. Available during open hours, space permitting.

Co-op Members have access to the Bike Co-op during operating hours. Members under 14 must be accompanied by someone 18 years or older. When you are here, please respect our space, volunteers, and tools. We reserve the right to refuse access to anyone who doesn’t.

Want to Earn a Bike?

Volunteer with us in the Bike Co-op. For every volunteer hour worked, you will receive $10 towards the purchase of a bike.


Want to Purchase a Bike?

Drop into the Bike Co-op. We take cash, check, credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express), Apple Pay, and Earn-A-Bike credit are all excepted.


Want to Donate a Bike?

You can do so anytime the WBRP building is open (Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays from 5-7PM, Saturdays from 9am-1pm, and Sundays from 3-5PM). We accept all bicycles, regardless of condition, as well as in good repair bike accessories. WBRP is a 501c3 organization and can provide you with a tax-deductible receipt for your donations.
